The Boho look. (Part one.)

Hey Dash here,

I’ve been M.I.A for a bit, (sorry!) but I’m back now and I’ve got so much to share with you all, so be prepared for tons of posts!

So, one thing that I’m really excited for this Summer is the Boho chic trend, which is starting to grace the rails and shelves of shops everywhere.

Boho chic is a style that I really love, it’s a perfect look for Spring/Summer and I think it’s a great way to get into the Festival season that’s just around the corner!

Boho chic is all about loose materials, lace, fringing, feathers, Aztec print, beaded sandals, ankle skirts and off the shoulder pieces. It’s a very laid back style, that takes most of it’s inspiration from hippie and bohemian styles.

This trend can sometimes seem like a risk taker style and you’ll definitely be noticed while flaunting the look, but even if you’re on the shy side, be brave and take the risk, if you like the way it looks.

Try the look out this summer, you’d be surprised how easy it is to wear, considering how beautiful and well put together it looks. Boho is all about the natural beauty, messy hair, minimal make-up and laid back feel that you just don’t have with too many other trends.

If you’re interested in this absolutely gorgeous Spring/Summer trend, why not check out a  Penneys (Primark.) store or H&M as they both have beautiful Boho collection out at the moment.

Here’s a little top I picked up in H&M for just seven euro, which is great if you want to dip your feet in the trend but not break the bank.

I hope this first post in a special three piece Boho series has inspired you to get into the spirit of this lovely trend.

Talk soon,

Dash x

I absolutely LOVE it…on other people. I feel too short and athletic to pull it off :/

Awh no! :0 I suppose everyone has one or two styles that when they think of themselves just don’t view in a positive light, it’s not for everyone, but if you like it don’t hold yourself back from wearing it, I’m super short (5 foot 1) and I still wear it, your build also doesn’t really matter. Boho especially, is one trend that any body shape and height can pretty much pull off as long as you’re comfortable and confident wearing it, I think certain pieces suit certain shapes and heights but there’s definitely something for everyone xx

Oh same! I literally adore it! X thanks for the comment, I do actually ^.^ I’m actually doing this boho topic as a three part series and I’ll have a post on accessories uploaded pretty soon, so keep an eye out for that? ♥ when it comes to boho accessories layering jewellery is everything whether it’s rings, bracelets or necklaces. Shoulder bags with bits if fringing can go really lovely with any boho look and sometimes even a flower crowns can look pretty when put with the right outfit and if you’re a fan of hair accessories then you you always try out those aztec style hairbands that have the little beads and featger? Boho chic is a really laid back style and it’s very expressive do what you think feel right with the outfit
