When it comes to the festive party season glitter can be really fun to wear and who doesn’t just love a bit of sparkle? With these fabulous glitter tips we’ll have you shining brighter than your Christmas tree in no time!
Clothes, clothes, clothes.
Glitter can add a whole other level to your outfit but remember less is more, especially when your talking sparkles.
Too much and you’ll end up looking more like a disco ball than a party guest and nobody wants that.
Whether your planning to wear a Ballgown or a bodycon glitter is always a good choice. But keep the shiny stuff to the dress, don’t have too many accessories or too much else going on with the outfit. Trust me, this will make the dress stand out better.
Now where would the belle of the ball be without her stunning make-up? Make-up can be tricky to get right. Glitter overload is certainly something we want to avoid. I’d keep the glitter to one area, lips or eyes and don’t go mad on it. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again less is always more!
With nails a bit of glitz is great, you can get your nails done for Christmas and still have them for new years, (It’s not just me that does that right?) The only thing I’d say about getting glittery nails is just make sure they match more than your party outfit.
On to the accessories!
Let’s talk bags and shoes, shall we?
These two can be a great to go glitter with. Make sure they’re near enough to the same colour though having a sparkly red clutch and dark blue glittery shoes probably isn’t the best idea.
The best way to wear these I’d say is with a plain or one colour dress. Eg. Matching gold sparkle-y purse and heals with a cute bright white party dress.
Sparkles are just gorgeous to wear, but just make sure you don’t over load yourself and you’ll end up stunning.
Happy Christmas eve guys! I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas. One sleep to go!
